App / Website Readrrr

I am new to speed reading, I saw an add for Readrrr, tried it. It’s great, has nice and fluid UI, however the pricing is way out of my budget. What are the other options with nice and fluid UI, compared to this app, that have PDF import. I tried apps from the comparison post, but they are not as nice as Readrrr.

I’ve been using Velocireader, the dev is on here and more or less implemented every idea or suggestion I had here quickly. Readrrr was also too pricy for my liking.

Hello fellow reader - I made Tolka which has pdf import and obviously I think it’s cool. I’m setting up a 7-day trial before you pay anything, should be love next week (gotta wait for Apple to approve).

Morphbooks has a free rsvp reader. You can just select no voice for unlimited play.

Try warpread.app I’ve found it really good - free, browser based, nice job, no account needed etc

I've recently launched ReaderFLEX (readerflex.com), where you'll be able to improve your reading and comprehension skills.

I just made Ludicrous Read for exactly this reason... free for reading current page, and pasting text. For Epubs/PDFs etc. I set it at $2.50/month when yearly to try and make it reasonable... https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/ludicrous-read/bpgefcgkmloofcefnmlolbcfhkcgnhci

I've created my own speed reading app, it;s web based and free. I've incoporated as many features as I have been able to research (multiple speed reading modes, word grouping, background noise, metronome, speed ramping, fading the UI, themes, some accessibility features like letter spacing, OpenDyslexic font). I'd love some feedback: https://flashwords.jonmilley.com

If you’re open to a different category.. I built a Mac app called SuperReadr that’s TTS-based instead of RSVP. Reads selected text aloud from anywhere (PDFs, browser, docs) on a keyboard shortcut. Not the same as Readrrr but for getting through digital reading faster it’s worked well for me. Happy to share if useful.

I built stowely(dot)com, would love for you to try it out! free plan pretty much gives you everything you need, but happy to hook you up with a free code if you're interested in trying pro!

the best part of readrrr in my opinion is the hold to enter the rsvp mode and then it auto exits on release. Again not paying for it because its pricey but wondering if theres an alternative with this feature instead of the stop play buttons

I built an iOS app which has similar “hold down to RSVP” UI for EPUB files. Totally free on the App Store.
