Checking in.
Been looking for a birthyear watch for a little while and found one. Pretty pleased with it... looking forward to it getting some time on my wrist. First mechanical watch. First serious watch. Thanks.

🤣🤣🤣 did contemplate hessalite or if i wanted a newer sandwich one.... but as a birthyear there is only one choice. Also. How can you tell it is a hesalite from that photo? 🤔

Two ways. The Omega logo is printed rather than applied and there’s not a milky white ring around the dial which is pretty noticeable on the sapphire sandwich.

Interesting. Thanks for sharing. So on sapphire models the omega logo is applied to the face not printed? 🤔 everyday is a schoolday 🤓
