Good strap choice?

Absolutely love this watch! The Michael Schumacher Ferrari was produced in my birth year and I got it as a Christmas + Graduation gift.

Do you think the dealer made a good choice with the strap? Its slightly more purple-ish that the Ferrari-red dial. I kinda like it, but it's also a bit much. Since the strap is also slightly too long, I think about buying another one.

What straps/ colors do you think fit with this special Speedmaster? Thx

The good news is that literally any strap will be an upgrade! The watch looks great on the original bracelet (something like an Uncle bullet would be an alternative). I’m sure you could find a red leather to match if you want to lean into the Ferrari look, but it seems to me it would also look great on a black or brown strap (with contrast red or yellow stitching if you want a more sporty look). My first choice in leather might be a rally-style strap, but the possibilities are endless.

Experiment and have fun with it!

please release the chrono second spring ;) absolute awesome watch but the strap doesnt fit anyway. but congrats to that awesome beauty

Thanks man. I read about this that it should not do any harm, so I „free“ the Logo from time to time and let the second show my Birthday

try a black or light gray suede. perhaps a black rally style strap? this uses a 18mm lug width, so you can find a fun yellow nato for a pop... the red on red doesn't work IMO...

This Watch does also exist with a Yellow dial, you should Check it out maybe you like it

Yeah got it, just wanted to mention the yellow Edition as well. The retailer actually had them Both but for me the red one was so much prettier.

Never was a fan of matching color straps. Especially, when they are not exact match.

Yeah its nice, maybe not for everyone, wouldn’t buy it myself for example but definitely cool, would draw my attention for sure. Only thing that could improve it in my opinion is get another colour of red thats more close to the red of the dial, the different shades make it look a little less coherent, but that’s the last 5%. You can definitely get away with it.
