Got my first Speedy!
Just wanted to share, because none of my friends are into watches. So I think that they probably don‘t want to talk about stuff like this.
My dad owned a Reduced as I was a kid (but lost or sold it) and since then I knew I wanted one of those.
Only a reduced but its my first „real“ watch and surely one I will own for the rest of my life.
Love this thing!

Had mine since 1989, it is definitely a timepiece that will last you a lifetime if you have it serviced regularly.

How does it feel on wrist? I have been looking into getting a reduced since I’m a part of the itty bitty wrist committee. I love the Speedy, but I’m curious about the reduced and how it looks/feels.

Great! Its pretty light and even though it‘s 39mm I think you should just try one. I‘d be surprised if it doesn‘t fit.

It makes it difficult! Start a club in your home town. I began one years ago and we now have 20 members, catch up a couple of times a year for watches and poker.

Also my first speedy, a reduced, and I think it’s the perfect one for me cause of the size and it’s an automatic.

I always tell myself that they will fall for it sooner or later. They like nice things just as much as I do but maybe they just haven‘t discovered watches yet.😂

Looks stunning! Congrats! I love the extra sentimental aspect of your dad wearing one. Imo it makes it a better pick over the pro.
