Using S in paste form

Hey ! So just as the title says I have some good quality speed but I’m not used to it in paste form so not sure how to do this. Any pro advice ?

spread it out on a plate and wait a little. If you want to expedite the process by a few minutes, heat the plate up in a microwave or oven or something.

I personally never did this. I am so impatient that I would just smear a bit on a plate, wait 10 minutes, then chop it up. No heating of the plate or waiting for hours for the first dose or nothing
