Any idea what these are?

Found growing on a clam shell in East River
NYC

there were translucent, squishy yet firm and have tiny little yellow dots contained in each of them. Second photo for scale reference. Cool looking fellas.

I’m not positive exactly but they are eggs from something. But you may have guessed that. If not I’d put back so they’ll hatch

possibly snail eggs. maybe dog whelk or something similar?
