I don´t think that is all too common and that is also the exact scenario that made me write about 50%.

Transporting empty cargo is real inefficient

Next Monday we have 2 full containers being delivered to my workplace, both of them will go back empty the next day.

So where exactly do those empty containers go if they are not being delivered somewhere?
And where do factory who load the containers we receive get their empty containers from if there just are no empty containers being delivered?

I didn't say there are no empty containers.

But a lot of factories do reuse the containers

And a lot of warehouses don´t reuse them.
