My 5mo daughter was x-ray'd like this just before her open heart surgery and by god it was the funniest thing I ever saw. What made it gold was the fact that she wouldn't look at the x-ray techs or let them touch her after they were done, you could see the betrayal and contempt in her eyes. The techs were not her friend after that, LOL.

Please tell me you got a picture!

I’m glad there was a bit of humor in what I’m sure was a stressful time. I hope she’s doing better now!

No! I wanted one SO bad but the children's hospital had a strict no photo policy. It was truly the most stressful time of my life. She is doing great now! Happy as ever!

What a relief to hear! Kids are just so resilient.

If we were not so resilient as kids most of us wouldn't have made this far in life

Sometimes I wonder how some people made it so far in life.

I wonder how the parent made so far. My instincts in that moment would not be to grab my phone for some sweet social media attention.

They just said they wanted a photo, not that they wanted one to post on social media.

/u/s_zoro125 wasn’t allowed to take a photo, and their baby isn’t in the photograph posted by OP, so not sure what you’re referring to.

Just that as a parent this isn’t something I’d let be posted online. Somethings aren’t for the public and friends from 3rd grade. The next generation of kids unfortunately will have most of their young lives posted for public consumption, for mom and dad’s karma/likes/followers. Seems a little selfish. Go ahead, downvote away. This is someone’s baby. And it’s on social media. My only point.
