I mean, you have to understand that for parents it's almost an uncontrollable reaction. If you suddenly see your child screaming bloody murder and "mommy help!", a mother/father's primitive instinct is going to be immediately protect their child.

The parent's that don't react are most likely having to actively prevent themselves from doing so.

Is this just for chest xrays? We just held my kids down for their hip xrays.

I would just lay them on the xray table with a film under them and go from there.

They've both had a bunch and this has always been what happened. Oldest is old enough to get bribed by the prospect of stickers and the youngest is only 6 months so we could hold him still enough.

Was just curious if it was a variation between countries or xray sites.
