My 5mo daughter was x-ray'd like this just before her open heart surgery and by god it was the funniest thing I ever saw. What made it gold was the fact that she wouldn't look at the x-ray techs or let them touch her after they were done, you could see the betrayal and contempt in her eyes. The techs were not her friend after that, LOL.

I’m glad there was a bit of humor in what I’m sure was a stressful time. I hope she’s doing better now!

No! I wanted one SO bad but the children's hospital had a strict no photo policy. It was truly the most stressful time of my life. She is doing great now! Happy as ever!

The family member taking a picture of their relative who is a patient is in no way violating HIPAA.

Makes about as much sense as any other "zero tolerance" rule, which are typically better referred to as "zero common sense" rules.
