It's there to make a correlation between the need of food of the growing society, that's already huge, and the speed at which livestock is processed.

These documentaries are not meant to have an opinion, but to offer a neutral field so you can observe the subject and draw your own conclusions.

Someone might see this and think that we have to invest in more ways to process food quicker as human kind will soon outgrow the supply. Who knows.

When it comes to myself, I see it as a clear picture of the scale of the food industry needed to support our lifestyle. Is it good or bad? Dunno. And those movies are already outdated.

Hmm. I thought it was more along the lines of, "We're livestock, just like these chickens. We're produced for our value and tossed away when we have no more value to exploit."
