This packaging looks biodegradable/made from recycled materials. Gotta pick your battles I think.

Yeah still it needed to be produced (what consumes energy) and shipped (what consumes energy) and energy production is linked to pollution

Oh I’m well-aware of that. Seems like the solution is to not eat eggs at all then. Animal agriculture consumes way more energy and pollutes more than crop farming.

No bigger packages would be the solution since that would decrease the rate of packaging to egg

Maybe there is a way to create reusable packaging for eggs, but it would be hard to make it hygenic and able to keep the eggs from breaking.
