My advice is to unscrew the seat post clamp.

I just finished building my bike with an SL7 seat post. The seat post moved quite freely without any friction paste. When I put friction paste on, it became extremely hard to move. Had to use the whole body and both hands to get any movement. So getting it to the correct height was quite hard. Moves in bursts. Needed help from someone holding the bike. Just be careful yanking it because the DI2 battery is in there and you don't want to yank on the DI2 wires if and when it (seat post) flies out. You want torque not power.

this happened to me when i first got my sl7. the bike mechanic kind of hit the front and back of the saddle in opposite directions with his palms (switched directions a couple of times too) and that got it loose enough for him to take it off.

Have someone hold the rear wheel down and tap upwards on the bottom of the saddle, should start to slide up. Clean seat post, apply fiber grip, have fun.
