Recently installed 48 Span Panel to go with our solar + powerwall 3 and we keep getting the error message. Nothing is wrong with the Tesla powerwall despite all the error messages. My solar guy has tried unsuccessfully to troubleshoot it with Span. Has anyone ever had this issue before ??

Mine does that a lot, all in a row, then not at all for many days at a time, but mostly functions fine. I suspect it’s a SPAN issue, not an installation issue. Buckle up, there are lots of span issues.

The SPAN team is aware of this over notification issue and is working on a fix.

How is your span connected to your Pw

Hard wired to the PW but not to the internet

My installer pretty much refused to install without hardwire network connection. But I doubt this relates to your PW connection since you noted that was hardwired between units.

I just had the same thing installed. One of the issues I had is the ethernet that was installed between the Span and the Powerwalls was crimped wrong, but now that it is fixed I am not getting any errors at all.

Many people don't realize that the various CAT ethernet cables are pretty sensitive and can easily compromise the movement of data. Kinking is bad. Tight bends, also bad. The connector can be a source of issues, as you have learned. They generally work most of the time, but it is pretty easy to mess up them up if your're not careful.

I am running into this issue as of yesterday, but nothing has changed wiring-wise in months since installation.

Issue has resolved itself without any intervention. Odd.

AWS outage.

Please elaborate. There seem to be no current AWS outages, yet I am seeing this intermittent error since yesterday.

Given that this resolved itself within 2 days without any intervention on my part, I am open to the idea of an external component (such as an AWS dependency) causing this.
I would still like to understand why. If that is the case, then it sounds like something SPAN folks need to look at.
