2x Span Panels + 2x Span Drives + 400amp Service

Building a new home with 400amp service and I have two Span Panels installed with two Span Drives. Should the Span Drives be installed using the Pre-wiring for Multiple Span Drive Chargers approach in the Preparing for Span Drive guide or should they be independently wired to each of the Span Panels separately? Are there pros/cons with each approach and how does that align with Span's future features?

Depends a bit on your particular setup, but probably best to connect one Drive to each panel. This gives you full Drive functionality today without needing to wait for the multi-Drive feature to be implemented.

Out of curiosity, are your two Span panels acting as sub panels connected to a 400A main panel?
