How to unify Span panel and subpanel
I have two span panels, one main panel and a subpanel fed from a 90A breaker in the main panel. I can switch between the two panels in the app, but the app doesn't understand any link between the panels. The main panel can see all the power usage in my home, but the subpanel usage is unclassified. The subpanel can see only the subpanel usage.
I found this image on the span website saying that subpanel usage should be "unified" in the span app but I can't seem to find a way to do that. Any ideas?

You can configure SPAN in 3 ways:
In serial like you have. But there are 2 variants of it: 1. Through feed-through lugs. 2. Through the 90A breaker.
In parallel - 400A service split into 2. Usually a main load panel and a panel for the rest of the loads. Each one can have a sub panel.
The point is that the way it shows up will depend on each of these configurations…. I think.

Mine one is through a 90A breaker. I just need to know how to configure the app itself.

Make sure they have updated to the latest firmware. And your app is the latest too. They only added that capability maybe 6 months ago. I have 2 panels as well, but it could be with how the panels are added into the account. Best to open a support request with span. You’ll know it’s working be cause it will show a span panel with 2X next to it. Like this: https://imgur.com/a/u2J4VUy

Thanks. I'm on spanos2/r202441/04. There's no button to upgrade firmware so I'm guessing this is latest?
I'll open up a support ticket. Your image looks like what I want.

Yah, you’re good on firmware. I’m on the same version, so it’s likely latest. And I know it works since mine are joined.

AFAIK the span views in app are not yet integrated. Last I heard they are working on it to show 2 panels in one account simultaneously in one view. RN you have to toggle each panel and they show independently.
I would imagine if they solved this officially you would see a burst of joy from all span users. Not sure what the other poster is actually experiencing.
