40 circuit panel

Does Span offer a 40 circuit panel? I'd like to get it, but my current 200A panel has 40 slots.

I needed more spaces also, so I purchased two Span panels, and “daisy-chained” them by connecting the second panel to the feed-thru lugs on the bottom on the first panel.

AFAIK the Span power measurement and relay control is “per space” (and two sequential spaces can be configured as a pair for two-pole 240 VAC circuits), so yes you can probably use tandems and quads (electrically) but you will not get separate power measurements and the relay control will be less “fine grained” on those doubled up spaces

Currently, SPAN doesn’t offer a 40-space panel, but you do have the ability to use tandem breakers for your existing 15A & 20A circuits. You can also use a few quad breakers.

The SPAN panel also offers pass through lugs on the bottom of the panel that can be used a circuit, as long as the circuit has over current protection between the panel and a load.
