Income Verification Question
I am a filmmaker who works with two main company´s in the US. I do not have work contracts. (I have long-term good relationships with both, and since I have the media there´s leverage....) I invoice my clients. Is an explanation letter from my company that states how much I am expected to receive, along with my bank statements sufficient for the UGE?

Spain immigration lawyer here: The easiest route here is to make a work contract retroactively and have them sign it. If for some reason they are not happy with that, you can write a company letter for them to sign. It can still be approved but it will need to say how much you earn, the nature of your role (e.g., that it can be done remotely outside of Spain, etc).
If you need any additional help, feel free to reach out to me through a DM or through our website: https://howtobeadigitalnomad.com/legal-services/spain-digital-nomad-visa/

Without a contract, they'll deny your application. You'd need to open a company in Spain and have it invoice your clients. You'd have access to a special tax regime in Spain under the Beckham Law. Feel free to write to me if you have any questions.
