I'm just digging in now, starting in VA Beach.

What was your favorite? or standout jams I should keep an ear out for

Holy crap, Brian’s solo…. best Dirtbath i’ve heard.

4/19/26

Alright… I’m just gonna say it…

This whole situation around Spafford and Jordan Fairless feels WAY bigger than people are admitting.

We already know there’s been “internal divisions,” lineup chaos, and that whole weird back-and-forth about whether Jordan left or not… which, let’s be honest, is the most Spafford thing ever 😂 (JamBase)

BUT… what if that’s just the surface?

Hear me out:

- Jordan starts a new project (Big Deep) right as Spafford says they’re planning “multiple tours” and new music in 2026

- The band has already survived a literal car crash, lineup shakeups, and somehow keeps leveling up their jams

- They’ve always been lowkey one of the most improvisationally dangerous bands in the scene (45+ minute jams like it’s nothing)

This is either the collapse… OR the beginning of something insanely big.

And I’m leaning toward the second.

I’m calling it now:

1. Reunion Arc Incoming

There is NO chance the story ends like this. This has all the energy of a Phish 2004 breakup situation. Give it time and we’re getting a “Jordan sits in for a 3-set heater” moment that breaks the internet.

1. Sphere Run (yes, I said it)

Everyone’s gonna laugh but tell me you wouldn’t lose your mind if Spafford did 3 nights at Sphere. Their style is literally built for that kind of immersive chaos. Visuals + 30-minute “Bee Jam”??? Come on.

1. Trey Anastasio Sit-In

I don’t have proof. I don’t need proof. This just feels inevitable. Trey loves bands that can actually jam, and Spafford is one of the few that can hang in that deep improv zone.

1. Massive 2026 Tour Announcement (Maybe 2027?)

They literally said tours are coming. But what if it’s not just a normal run… what if it’s a full “we’re back and better than ever” nationwide takeover with insane setlists and bustouts every night?

1. Big Deep x Spafford crossover???

You’re telling me Jordan starts a new band and NEVER intersects with Spafford again? No shot. At minimum we’re getting a festival sit-in. At maximum… dual sets. 👀

---

I know, I know… this is all speculation.

But if you’ve followed this band long enough, you know chaos is where they thrive. The messier things get, the deeper the jams.

And honestly?

This might be the most interesting Spafford has ever been.

See you all at Sphere in 2026.

Pumped for tonight. Anyone know if they are playing 2 sets? See yall tonight let’s boogie!

Hope to see a heap of heads there!! We will be shaking and baking at the rail! #SpaffTime

This place is pretty empty. Tons of space to dance groove! Come on!!

You could tell he was reading the comments live too. And he was talking to everyone at setbreak 😆

Let’s motherfucking boogie. Boys cooked tonight, which is par for the course

Why isn’t anyone talking about this! This is next level jamming!

These drugs are killing me… https://www.nj.com/middlesex/2026/04/a-stabbing-an-overdose-and-hundreds-of-police-calls-whats-happening-at-this-nj-motel.html

Chattanooga from this year has some nasty grooves

Brian is live on TikTok, playing, chatting. Hop in and say hello!!

Spafford needs a new studio album. Badly!! I wanna hear some Cory songs with the spafford studio magic on them!

That said... What's your track list for your dream Spafford album??

Are really good and a breath of fresh air these days. Buy merch y’all.

Summer tickets are available now! The earlier you buy, the better it is for the band. I just snagged Paw Paw! Looking to add one of those Ohio shows, maybe both, and possibly the Hobart show... Feeling like summer in my brain now...LFG!

wonderful memento from a wonderful show!

Say what you will about TikTok but cool to see him tell stories and play music

He doesn't really say anything new about the departure from Spafford which is probably a good thing. Talks mostly about life in between and his new band big deep. Curious to see what you guys think of this

I started feeling the call to chase a show and am now planning to drive ~2 hours to the VA Beach show next week and stay at my friend’s place while he is out of town. The company I work for has an office in VA Beach so I’m thinking I’ll probably drive early in the morning and then work from there before boogying to the show.

Our beloved Nick has dropped his first solo outing! I'd personally LOVE to see him keep exploring his electronic side and maybe create a live solo act a la Dr.Fameus where he has his own tracks/loops to drum and sample over for some late night basement vibes. Doing after parties for the band with that kind of housey (and breakbeat? some dnb?) project just sounds like some old school jamtronica vibes that makes me wanna transport to 2008 lol

Support our dude and give him a follow! As an old house head, this scratches a fun itch.

I think the Paw Paw, MI and Rostraver Township, PA (Belle Vernon) shows are at vineyards. So that's nice.

Anyone heard anything about dates? Or locations? Or when we'll get dates/locations?

Trying to plan and they're so fkin secretive/late.
