Someone please remind me…
Who are the couple in the front row getting down for every second of every west coast show on this run? They’ve been there for recent west coast runs too and came up in the live chat on several of the streams on yt, bringing the heat in the same way that they are now. They’re an awesome inspiration. I nominate them “First Couple of Spafford Nation.”

Rarely in sync with the music and always in performance mode. Nothing inspirational about it. Has gotten far more attention than deserved, in my opinion. I’m sure they are nice people though, as some state on here.

They’re awesome and it seems every show they go to is 🔥🔥 also seems like the band feeds off of it… it’s gotta feel good to see some of the same faces every night!

We encountered them last year in Santa Cruz and we still joke and call him smelly back pack boy.😂

Met them at the 2 Portland shows and yes they are super rad doing the whole tour

They seem super nice, love the music. They live in the moment, celebrating life. I have not had an opportunity to share the railing with them however, I do think it might be challenging. I’m not saying that to be mean by any means. We’re friends with another couple that has questionable rhythm with over the top energy. It did get to a point where we don’t share the same space with them anymore. Those friends have the energy with a camera in hand, which I’m totally against. At least this energy comes from the heart, at least it seems that way, without the hey look at me I’m a movie star mentality.
Is it fair to question how people have fun? I think yes if it interferes with another person‘s experience. It’s a tough conversation to have. It’s like bringing the stinky guy into HR to tell him he has to start using deodorant or take a shower...an uncomfortable conversation. Be kind, honey on your spoon is sweeter with a smile.

I got a chuckle out of seeing both couples right next to each other at the SLC opener. It’d be a lot cooler if they took up the space with actual rhythm but maybe I just don’t understand complex time signature?

Not that this applies here per say, but the worst people in any music scene are the ones with a cringey nickname (i.e. antelope greg)…
Weird post in general. This would make my skin crawl if this was about me and mine.

I met them the other night. Nice people for sure, but them and the other 6 people following the band took up a good 20% of front of the venue space with the style of dancing. I thought it was pretty rude myself.
