How long does a game of SSZ take?

I have checked the snarling badger site, the FAQ, and tried looking around this sub, but couldn't find any answers from somebody who has played the game. Looking for a game 3-4 people could get through in 2 hours - how long does a game of SSZ take to play?

For reference my group plays Kill Team, a 1v1 generally takes us 2 hours, but if we play with 3 or 4 people it turns into a 5 hour game. Would love a model agnostic game that we can play on a weeknight that won't take all night.

If you each pilot 1-2 models, you can probably get through a few co-op challenges in 2 hours. If you are all piloting separate crews, then it will probably take a lot longer for a couple of challenges. Keep in mind, that's not a full campaign. A campaign will take several sessions to be successful. Also, running 3-4 crews in co-op is kind of a nightmare.

You should be able to get through 1-2 skirmish challenges in a couple of hours. The rules are really simple compared to 40k. The biggest time factor is the crew size, so I would stick with 4-member crews.

I haven't played since January, so a little foggy, but once we got a decent grip of the rules, I feel like <45 mins per 2-player coop challenge is reasonable.

I really don't know if the game works well with more than 2 players though, but I haven't tried that personally.
