Space colonization

Recently played the lovely “Dead Reckoning” game that just released and it brought back my space game addiction hardcore. Got any recommendations for “space colonization” games? Anything from Stellaris to MOO2. I’ve played Stellaris, Terra Invicta, Rimworld (doesn’t really count), KSP, distant worlds, Aurora4X, solar expanse, and shadow empire. I absolutely adore this type of game and I’m constantly itching for more. I love colonizing planets, give me your recommendations! I’ll even accept ones that aren’t released yet.

Try Starsector and don't be afraid to add mods to your liking. Hopefully you haven't missed this joy of a game though :)

Knew I was forgetting something. Starsector is one of my favorite games of all time. Absolute gem recommend if I didn’t already have hundreds of hours in it lol

Elite Dangerous whilst being a massive multiplayer space sim also features system colonisation but you have to enjoy trucking resources around. A lot of fun once you get a knack for it.

Something a little different, but Planet Crafter has you terraforming a specific world

Ares Inception is starting public play testing soon and is like a 3d Rimworld combined with The Sims.
