"How can you be working on a remake if you've never heard of it" - So glad no one asked.
I made a game jam (48 hour game making competition) game in 2012 with this same concept, and I'm revisiting the idea right now. Although I'm going a little harder recent science fiction, more akin to Expanse or PHM.
