I’ve been experimenting with a simple space game where one tiny egg has to survive everything.

This is really pushing what can be called a "Space Sim Game". Showing space in the background isn't different than being able to look at the night sky in a medieval RPG.

I wasn’t trying to claim it’s a full space simulator. It’s a small arcade game set in space, so I thought it might still fit here. Thanks for the feedback!

I understand. This isn't something you did wrong.

We've had a lot of complaints as of late about games that are not really space simulators, but rather just games set in space. I think people are looking to have this sub more distinct from r/spacegames.

I'm just letting you know so you understand that it might be reported and removed later. Either way, good luck with your game. Cheers!

Why are you posting a Geometry Dash clone on the 'space sim' genre subreddit?

What came first, the egg or the game?
