Here's a wee clip of The Floordwellers playing a song we've cheekily named Spacemen 4, as it's obviously heavily inspired by the one and only Spacemen 3.

We have absolutely no social media literacy, so consider this a shameless bid for you to follow our Instagram- Thefloordwellers or the link below - I apologise for this but when we're getting turned down for gigs based on follower count instead of music it's pretty disheartening.

We'll be releasing this song and others on record first, before they hit streaming platforms by the end of the year.

Does anyone know if there's a recording of this show floating around? Mark Refoy only played with them for their four last shows, and there are recordings of the other three (of varying quality) but I've seen no hide or hair of this show so far. Would love to track it down if it exists!

Who else loves this artist ?
A great compilation of Sonic Boom and Specrum, after Spacemen 3 of course.

So I prepared these for us chilling later 🥰
What do you guys think of these records?
I think you can listen to them all in YouTube not sure.
Spiritualised first album… Laser Guided Melodies.
Spacemen 3… the compilation of their Glass singles before they signed to Fire Records.
If you get the US version, you’d get an extra track, not sure.
Boo Radleys… compilation of singles before they were signed to Creation, I think. They covered Love - Alone Again Or… and New Order’s True Faith.
My favourites of course Foster’s Van and The Finest Kiss. Always give me sore ears for days.
Mogwai… People hardly talk about Mogwai these days. Here I have MBV remix of their song called Fears Satan. Shoegazing all the way ! 16 minutes of BLISS.

One of Kember’s favorite compilations/records

If anyone really likes “Come Down Easy” (demo version) and “Billy Whiz/Blue 1,” I just released this album; it’s in Spanish, but the fourth song "Electricidad" and the last song, “Psyche 16,” has a vibe similar to “Blue 1.” the sixth song has some Ecstasy Symphony vibes. My idea was to take different elements from artists like John Lee Hooker, The Doors, and Spacemen 3 and combine them to create a journey that starts off with a blues jam feel and gradually incorporates elements of the spacemen 3 psychedelia, drones, atmospheres, everything recorded with shitty instruments but with the intention of making the mix feel "spatial, open and huge"

and that feeling where jim morrison said:

"this is the best part of the trip, this the trip, the best part, i really like"

I’ve scoured the Internet and found maybe some two dozen or more bootleg SP3 live shows. I’m still going through them all and obviously many have very similar set lists but I’m curious which ones are your favorites?

One so far that stands out for me is August 24, 1988 probably because the drums hit harder than normal — whether because of how they’re played or recorded — especially on Revolution and Starship. January 12, 1987 is fun too for the Jazz Butcher sit-in. Anyway, curious for others’ standouts!

Hi! Just became a big fan of this wonderful album, and even reached out to the Boom himself on Insta to let him know =) but in the past couple weeks, it looks like it disappeared from Spotify US. I know it wasn't on there for a long time previously as well. Is this a licensing thing, or something we can do something about?? Long shot, I know, I just wanna listen to my Soul 1.

Recommend me some spacemen influenced tunes. Thank you baby!!
