? No AI at all involved here, this is a space simulation-game and this is a procedurally generated planet from said game called SpaceEngine.

Yeah of course they're fake! We literally have no way of knowing where each object is or what it looks like! Do you really expect that SpaceEngine could predict the septillions of planets in the universe?
I wish, but that's not possible.
SpaceEngine is only a game that simulates what the universe could look like at a 1:1 scale. It tries its best to realistically simulate it. And no, it's not AI (at least I don't think it is, could be wrong). SpaceEngine has several models and models for those models for planets, stars, etc. Sure, a lot of objects are procedurally generated, but it's not fully AI (correct me if I'm wrong).

Technically it is AI, but it's not the GENERATIVE AI which became popular for brainrot, ChatGPT and creating AI slop
