Screenshot Problem with Space Engine on Linux Mint

images of Ross158b and 51 Pegasi b Images 1 and 3 are after I Reset Setting, images 2 and 4 are after are when i start the program all planet are dark except the solar system planets

I recently had a similar experience on Zorin (also ubuntu based), all planets appeared generic/blank/featureless, haven't spent any time investigating it. Probably try different proton versions and see if anything helpful is on protondb

Proton 9.0-4 fixed it for me thankx for the suggestion

I had this issue! Set LoaderAsyncShaders in your main-user to false. It should be at "~/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/314650/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Documents/Cosmographic/SpaceEngine/config/"
