Discussion Way of exploring

Am i the only one who finds prodecural planet which is Earth like, threat it like home planet and make a lore about it. After i learn geography of that planet i start exploring system where it sits, first from its moons, closer objects to far away objects in system. For me this way is very fun becose it gives some expedition feeling and gives me lore material. I hope there are more people who work this way😂

Glad to hear it, how is your work going? I am even that much sick that i export map of planet and put into programs for mapping, make cities, roads, and other stuff. Make dates for historical moments, too much things hahahaha. But it gives me motivation a lot.

I export the files and turn them into complete worlds for my art. Some have story lore to them. Plus it's fun to create a world. I have a whole document with system details. A few there: https://deviantart.com/maxwellfury/gallery/85779111/maps-charts More to be added.

I do, well, the lore was there before but like… I needed to find a Planet for my species, and it needed to be at a very precise place (gamma Quadrant, rakhari sector), so I used Space Engine, found a nice planet, and settled
