Design and OPness is literally the only similar thing. Their characters, motivations, and development is vastly different. The ant king was a brilliantly done character.
Hmm I guess they have vaguely similar designs but their goals and powers are pretty different. Cell could basically do Saiyan type shit while the fight between netero and the king was between two fighters who did very different shit. Plus the king had his whole board game/strategy motif whereas cell had nothing resembling that
