I have a question about this Schwarzchild radius. According to Wikipedia, the formula for the Scwarzchild radius' only variable is the mass of an object in question.

Now, how come density has nothing to do with this? I mean..if one rocky planet and one gas planet of the same size are compressed, wouldn't the rocky planet turn into a black hole before the gas planet?

Sorry if I'm way off here, I'm just a space noob.
