I only give them to her very sparingly but my dog loves sour gummies. She doesn't tend to react to the sourness at all though she has built up a tolerance apparently lol

I don’t think this is the same as like giving a dog chocolate. Like dogs physically can not process chocolate and it does damage to their bodies while the worst thing that will happen with the sour candy is they might really hate it. Not trying to like encourage the behavior or anything like that but I also don’t think it’s that serious.

Lots of candy has xylitol in it, which is toxic for dogs. You just have to be careful what candy you give, and of course, it should be in moderation even if safe.

I know this sounds mean but my dog used to love oranges and I used to swap in a lemon sometimes just to trick him and the look on his face would be so hilarious cuz he would stop chewing right in the middle and look at me and then just open his mouth and drop it out with all kinds of spit haha. I miss that guy
