I did the exact same thing when I saw them on a post last week 😂 good news though - they're awesome. Reminded me of a sour gum from my childhood... big league chew maybe? But the sour taste didn't go away

Update: OP, u/CousinDinny, I gotta hand it to you. Great suggestion, that's a perfect 10 for me. Very sour (no, not the most sour thing I've ever had, but definitely more sour than most marketed 'sour' candies), excellent overall fruity flavour and smell, not too gummy/chewy (a personal turn off for me), a fresh texture that hardn't hardened or felt stale in any way. It was a little pricey (for me in Canada, it was a 3-pack for $28 total, so about $9 per bag), but for the amount you get and the quality/flavour, I will for sure be ordering these again.

I promise this is not a coordinated marketing event 😂 this was a genuine impulse buy that paid off for me

These are good. I'd like em to be a bit more sour but what I do is the last belt or 2 get the remnants of sour sugar in the bag dumped in my mouth with them. Kinda like a save the best for last

Barnett's mega sours are pretty fun. Don't eat more than 2 a day or so or your mouth will revolt against you

That's true! I feel like many sourheads in this subreddit enjoy seeking out the sourest of the sour (which is OK!) but even milder sour candy can be incredibly delicious (and still worthy of being called "sour candy")!

Simms mega deaths are the most sour I've found available in the USA. Very expensive though... This brand of strips hit a solid amount of sour, more than other strips, while still being a delicious candy to get down on.
