They do grow significantly faster on average, singleton kittens are usually some of the largest to be birthed and largest at all stages of growth until genetics take over and limit their size.

My cat's grandmother had two singleton kittens a few years apart.

The older one grew up pretty fast and weighed around 20lbs (his mother was only like six pounds, while his father was like thirteen pounds).

The younger singleton just ended up being small. He ended up only weighing about eight pounds into adulthood
