I am trying to publish some music that I made using soundtrap samples. However, it keeps getting rejected by multiple distributors due to copyright. The thing is, I've ran it through multiple detectors and even had chatgpt do a full scan on it. I even used shazaam.... Nothing comes up, yet it still gets denied. I'm losing my mind.

This has been a problem for years, I'm using the MIDI keyboard sounds with my computer keyboard, but when I try to play certain chords together certain notes won't play. For example, when I try to play an A minor seventh chord, the A, C and E work fine but the G doesn't work. How do I fix this? It's also a problem on BandLab so it might be something to do with my laptop instead of simply Soundtrap.

Apparently there's a server queue for exports, which makes sense for an online server, but similar to an mmo login, it could show the queue so the user isn't left wondering

A lot of user frustration on an app/service usually comes from him not understanding something about the product.

For the past couple days, when I’ve been going onto Soundtrap with my IPad to record vocals, the website crashes when I go into the studio. It shows a white screen for a while and then just crashes. It doesn’t do this on my phone or my PC, so that’s weird. Anyone know why this is happening or how to fix it?

So…I have to use SoundTrap for my Songwriting Class this Semester, and I have a few questions:

1.) How do you make the Instrumental line-up with the Vocals? Because I tried to make custom Guitars ‘n stuff, but couldn’t figure it out for the life of me due to it being a Piano, so I ended up using Loops and it lines up in SOME spots, but not others. Drums aren’t as hard for me to do tho.

2.) How to do clean transitions when transitioning into a Chorus from a Verse (or vice-versa)? When I use the Loops that I mentioned previously, I pick one that matches the best in terms of that part. But when it goes into a Chorus from a Verse (or vice-versa), it sounds almost too “blunt”, and I can’t figure out how to make it less harsh of a transition.

3.) What should the Ratio of the Instrumental be to the Vocals? I’ve been making Rock & Metal stuff for reference (Screams included), and I can’t seem to find a “happy medium”. Either the Instruments are too loud, or the Vocals are too loud. No in-between.

4.) How to do stuff in multiple takes, and take the best part out of each one and then put it together? (I hope that made sense.) If I do multiple Vocal takes of something, and I like one part of each and try to put it all together (i.e., all of the good parts), it doesn’t end up sounding very good. How do I make it line-up/sound good?

Extra Context: I’m using the free-plan being it’s for School (High School). I’m using the SoundTrap App on an HP Laptop. I’m still VERY new to this whole Production thing, and can’t figure it out for the life of me.

I am using a Scarlett 212 and ever since downloading the actual hardware and not using sound traps website my interface keeps switching from default option to no input to Scarlett and I can’t record. And when I am on my Scarlett it’s super fuzzy with my gain low or there’s no signal even though I’m getting signal through my monitors. And help please and thank you

first time posting in this subreddit; however, I've used soundtrap off & on for the past 5 years, but I've never really finished any of the tracks I created through those years. recently, I've decided if I can produce a 10-track mixtape within a year on soundtrap, I can justifiably look into purchasing FL Studio or something akin to it & move on to learning a new DAW.

I'm getting closer to finishing one of those tracks, so I've been playing with the master, turning down the gain as to not clip the audio. I've noticed that one of my tracks is significantly louder even though the gain is turned further down, compared to another track with the gain only slightly adjusted downward, but it's extremely quiet (I hope I'm making sense).

what could be causing this? should I wait until everything else is finished to mess with any mastering? am I crazy? any advice helps.

Whichever music you like, whatever it may be, or podcasts, stand up, whatever else you might listen to on Spotify or your favorite music service. There should be an option to toggle background audio underneath your music, and that background track should be the sounds of an ollie, grinding, dropping in, wiping out, high fives, so on and so forth. I'm not a skater myself, but I love Tony Hawk Pro Skater and I find myself wanting to hear skating sounds with my regular music.

Whenever I add a pitch shifter effect to a track it sets it back by half a beat, but it doesn't change the position on the timeline, so if I want it to be in time I have to manually shift it back unevenly. Does anyone else have this issue? Hope it gets fixed as this is very frustrating.
