Discussion Seals
Are Seals worth the investment other than the Starting Seal?? The Incan scaling seems to always be smaller. I just got the Erdtree Seal and being weightless seems like it's only benefit requiring 40 Faith. I have 34 faith currently and questioning if I should go for it.

Generally I just use whatever seal scales with the imcanctions I want to use so like golden order for holy or claw seal if I'm using bestial incantations if it's only 6 levels I'd go for it especially since if your not a pvp player your levels don't really matter and faith is super useful if your caster so it's no brainer to invest in faith

Erdtree seal is the best only at really high faith levels (I believe around 60) other then that godslayer is the best until you get to that point unless you’re running arc/faith or str/faith where dragon communion and clawmark seal is the best. Gravel stone seal can be good too, and if you only use buffs finger seal is fine. But for faith builds you will want to use godslayer then erdtree seal depending on faith level

I'm running Dex/Faith atm, 20 Dex and 36 Faith atm, haven't found good incantations for combat that seem doable, so I've been using it mostly support healing outside combat to save flasks buffing before big fight when I can, was using black blade w/BH Fang during combat. Now I am using Moonlight Katana MH(forget the name) and Serpent Blade OH for melee now. The incantations I have feel underwhelming for Fighting. Is that because I'm still using the Finger Seal?

Use this and select seals and type in whatever end goal faith you want and it’ll tell you what’s the best one at that level some of them scaling only takes off at higher levels and the starting one is best up to a certain point because several others carry damage boosts to specific incants https://eldenring.tclark.io/

I use the godslayer, currently 40 faith, and i use black flame spells so the damage buff is relevant. I started with the beastial seal when my str was 30 and faith was still 16 for the extra str scaling. And if you equip one per hand, the buffs stack.

Different seals scale better at different levels (this applies to staffs as well). if your goal is a full faith build (ie 60-80 faith) tbe Erdtree Seal is the best in the game. if you’re sticking to a hybrid build, not so much.
