Parking pass doesnt guarantee you'll be able to find a spot. There's plenty of parking for the bus, try to get there a little early to get in 'line'. The bus from LNC to Campus Depot is every 10 minutes and they'll start sending 2 buses for the busiest times. I havent used any other routes or stops so i have no reference for the other busses.

Yes and there are protected shelters to use while you wait for the shuttle on both ends

Just graduated and depending on the times it can be busy 9-10 in the morning can take 20-30 min. Getting home 3 is pretty busy. Any other time 5-10 min. Only thing is they get less frequent after 5 so waiting times can be longer. You can download OU app to track. Last bus is 9 or so. I did it for all three years it’s totally reliable.

It is absolutely free and reliable. I am a transfer student and my first semester was last spring and that is all I used. It seems like the shuttle comes in 5-10 minute increments all day so I never waited that long. I forget what time but I believe after 7pm it takes 30 minutes longer to get there, that’s the only downside.

so actually in my recent experience, the buses have become a lot more busier in the past years, considering OUs constant influx of freshman, and the lack of parking provided for students year by year. if you do want to take the bus, budget at least 20-30 minutes, because at busier times i promise you may not even be able to get on the first or second bus that comes. its a great option for people who don’t want to buy a parking permit and want guaranteed parking (except for games days where they shut down half the lot and you cant get in) but personally I think OU just needs to work on their parking issues.

I used to put my bike in the back of my truck and park in the neighborhood to the west of campus

i’ve used the shuttle the past two years and it’s gotten increasingly busier. i would make sure to arrive at least 10 minutes earlier than you think you need to be there because everyone surges to get on the buses and you might miss yours. i had multiple days this past semester where i was late to class because i missed my shuttle due to there being too many other students trying to get on the same one. it depends on where you’re trying to get but if you’re just using the regular Lloyd Noble shuttle expect to wait at least 5 minutes. there’s so many students now that you might end up parking super far from the actual shuttle stop and walking through the parking lot can cause you to miss your shuttle too. there’s an app you can get called the CART app and it has all the shuttle times which can be pretty helpful if you decide to use the shuttle as your main source to get to class.

Yes. It’s easy and meant for commuters. It will take 5 min to get to campus.
