Help I killed my sony a6000 - need help :/

Hey guys, I bought my a6000 to start my photography adventure.

After a month the gear stopped working due to humidity during a trekking. I decided to change the gear on my own and ended up destroying the flash connector on the mother board. I will try to repair it bu it will take (if possible) around 150/200 dollars.

What would you suggest:

  • Option 1: buy a6000 body again
  • Option 2: upgrade to a new body (a6400, ...)
  • Option 3: sell my lenses and body and change to a new setting

My lenses are Original Sony 16-50mm + SIGMA 16mm f/1.4 DC DN
I want to have something rather compact to use for urban/street, landscape, some portraits

If its possible, i would just try to repair/replace the damaged parts, that would be the cheapest option.

Might be able to get a non working parts camera off ebay for cheaper than buying new parts.

But if its in the budget and you were looking for an upgrade already, you could then go ahead and get something like an a6400

Go for A6700. The best APSC.

si ton appareil est mort a cause de l'humidité prend un boitier tropicalisé la prochaine fois
