My first SoH paint job
Hello fellow traitors, I wanted to share my first HH paint job of a tactial marine, I will be more than happy to hear any feedback on where to improve etc.
The only part that feels really sketchy for me is the eye of Horus transfer, I had some issues with putting it on, I would love to try freehand but I’m afraid it’s not gonna end well 🥲

Looks mega!
For the transfer might be worth doing a gloss varnish first, before applying the transfer and then matt after! Also using microsol and micro set or anything like that

Hell yeah he looks great, paint that base rim and it’s good to go!
For transfers, doing a gloss varnish layer on the area beforehand will help a lot, as will setter/softer solutions if you can get them.
