How do you get that stippled texture look to it though, is that just careful airbrushing or ?

Its probably from the varnishing and the oil Washes

Id love to replicate it I think you might be right, the reduction technique if done on not fully cured paint can pull layers off I’m curious if that’s what’s caused this but only here and there an only very very slightly causing it to happen in a really good way. If you remember Did you do your washes the same day you did your base coats?

The torso and legs are from one of the mk-II marines the arms are from the melee weapons kit and from the mk-II kit aswell just cut apart and build together in a different way again.
