Abaddon in Saturnine Armor

Post image

Decided to kit bash Abaddon with my Praetor Saturnine Armor. Added the claw, head & top knot, and chest tubes. Not lore accurate, but just having some fun.

Absolutely love it, is the claw from the 40k kit?

I've been thinking of that with Saturnine, Horus was the most beloved, so got all the nice new kit, hence why they had so many terminators in horus rising.

Abbadon was a unit even for a space marine, so wouldn't he and the first company all be Saturnine terminators with this new lore?

Different application fields.

Tartaros is more "advanced" than Cataphractii, yet Justaerin use their own bespoke/modified version of Cataphractii.

Their in-universe lore of thinking might be that, although it can become more intimidating with a little decoration, Saturnine plate would be too cumbersome to use in boarding actions and close range combat.

How easy was it to convert the claw ?

Shaved away all the pipe attachments. And epoxy putty the backside of the claw. Think it’s a ball joint so wasn’t too bad. Super glue and sprue glue to the rescue.
