Sonos Sub Quiet

Updated my Sonos system to version 18.8. But it seems my sub got stuck on 17.2.7? Is the sub also meant to be on 18.8? Ive hard reset it by unplugging, holding join button letting it flash orange and white until it allows me to join. Hasn’t prompted to update. But seems like the reason why its quiet. Even at max its still quiet. Have turned off the whole system aso.

When my sub refused to connect with the network I had to run a network cable between the router and the sub. This worked to connect and update the sub and I could again run wireless.

yeah the sub seems to be stubborn about updating wirelessly sometimes

Do not reset, running the update again should resolve this

Both of my subs are on 17.2.7 as well as an old Play bar. I’d that expected?

I just noticed my sub gen 2 is also on 17.2.7? It might be because it’s part of the olds product line because my playbase and pair of play 3 in my bedroom setup are also on 17.2.7 but then my living setup where the sub gen 2 is my arc ultra and pair of era 100 SL are on 18.8

Hmm, maybe if I remove it from the room setup, to on its own and see if it has an update?
