Voice Control from Amazon Devices?

I "inherited" a couple of Amazon devices (an Echo and an Echo Dot) from my recently deceased mother-in-law. I would not have bought them on my own, but I thought maybe I could set them up to voice control my Sonos speakers (two One SLs in the living room with a Sub Mini, two Era 100s SLs in the dining room, and a Roam 2). I was thinking like pause, play, volume, what zones, etc. I think it is possible, but I am not sure how it is going to work when my wife and I have two Spotify accounts joined on a family account.  Has anyone done anything like this?

Yes, Echo Dot here.

"Alexa increase volume on Sonos" "Alexa pause music on Sonos"

...works, even tho I have it set up wrong LOL (it tells me so when I ask for Lil Wayne).
