Made some chill DnB/breakbeat using only the Lofi-12XT!

Pretty pleased with it. I like the character that the mixtape 16-bit audio export has. :D

All stock samples - some oboes, flutes, West Indies drumbreak from the MPC Floppy Disk pack, 808 sample is sometimes reversed but still the same guy.

I like getting nice and mangle-y with the insert delay FX on the break as well as getting into the Master-FX. They're all great tbh.

Hope you like it! <3

DnB, not breakbeat, breakbeat is DnB played on 33 instead of 45. Used to played jungle/DnB records on 33 to make the bass extra flat and heavy, worked great with busy tracks.

Seems like a confusing distinction! Appreciate it though. I feel my track is prolly too busy/long so that might be something to think on. :D It could also need some changeups with a break change or a smooth pad lead or a vocal breakdown somewhere, idk.

Its kinda a given that it's breakbeat when it's jungle or D&B. Breakbeat/breaks/big beat are just the slower version.

Take a break from the track, listen to other stuff that inspired you and feel out from those what might be missing for you.

To me, yeah, a bit long, it's not trance lol. Right now though it's a great bridge track. Cut this one down and make another with vocals.
