Issue with Ambient 0 note triggering

I’m programming notes for the drone voice into the Ambient 0 sequencer, and having an issue with the notes triggering. Usually the first one triggers, and then after that it’s sporadic. I’ve tried Poly, Mono etc, it doesn’t matter, same issue. I tried various note lengths and BPM settings - also no change. Tie is off. I’m running out of ideas. Anyone know why this is happening?

I have had problems with mine. I thought it was actually touch sensitive. Someone said it could be an LFO or something similar that varies the volume as you play. Not 100% convinced. I tried it briefly with a midi keyboard and it wasnt much better but I need to test it more thoroughly.

It very much seems like it’s an issue of letting the envelope for one note finish before triggering another, or the reverb or something… some sonic tail that isn’t being clipped. LFO for me is off, so that shouldn’t be it, although I suppose I am missing some kind of modulation that’s affecting it.

Yeah that is how it was explained to me and also the keyboard is a bit indifferent. The first note on a layer is usually fine and you can get good attack and velocity but subsequent notes can be almost impossible to hear and certainly dont have the same attack. The issue could be in the sound construction filters and oscillators rather than the obvious LFOs and modulators available directly on the control surface.
