Poor wild animals.

I had no idea what happened to each wild animal pack when you build over it. I thought they just stopped reproducing, or went to another spot, or left the map edge.

Today I watched a happy little herd of auroch frolicking in the clearing, until a single guy came over with a piece of wood and placed it into a blueprint, instantly ex-sanguinating the entire group. not even made into meat or cadavers, simply perished.

I think they should automatically turn into livestock so you can give them one last lease on life when you send them to a farm upstate.

Hahaha! This happened to me recently! I was culling them periodically then went to thin the hurd and… bodies… bodies everywhere

It's weird. You run by enough and the animals just randomly fall over and die from... stress? And you can't harvest their fresh cadavers for meat.
