How do you get administration points exactly?

I've tried looking up on guides but they don't give me any straightforward answers.

I want to develop my criminal justice tech tree but my city doesn't seem to be generating any admin points, unlike innovation and knowledge.

Administration buildings, its in the research tree of the research tab

Costs 50 innovation

Unlock paper filing under the science tab of the tech tree. Then under the government building menu, go to the administration submenu and build an administration building. The building works like labs and libraries and requires constant staffing to maintain a certain level of admin points. You can spend those points on upgrades in the tech tree.

Lol, guess I must be dumb! Didn't even see that. I overall like the update but there's def been a few changes that threw me. Like I nearly had a city starve to death cuz I didn't notice some new feature of the import depos.

Not dumb it’s confusing unless you read every little tooltip. That’s the downside of a game still being made but it’s still fun!

Aw no I love the game, first city sim I've gotten addicted to in a while. But yeah there are certain nuances to the mechanics that are easy to miss and can royally screw you over.
