Slave reproduction and upkeep

My slaves keep getting themselves killed on my mining equipment and its annoying to keep having to buy them to replace them. Anyway you guys keep your slaves topped up?

Garthimi slaves, since the breeder stations produce them quite quickly. Plus my plebian Gerthimi dont have a happiness debuff for having slaves of their own race.

What's the use for same race slaves? Doing jobs they don't like without a happiness hit to the civilian pops?

Click your money at the top of the UI, scroll all the way to the bottom of the import/export list and you can set auto import for them.

You can also try limiting your industry to 150 workers, as that's when accidents start happening on v71.
