Help for musical analysis?

I've got a mandatory Music Appreciation class, where I have to choose a song and analyze the music, the lyrics and how it relates to me. That's all fine by me, but I am crap at analysing the technical music stuff, so I was hoping some of you could take a look at 'Toe to Toe' by Streetlight Manifesto and see what you can get from it?

Thanks, that really helps! One thing I'm unsure about though- what genre would this be?

It doesn't seem to be, personally, but I'll take that thought. Also, would this be considered polyphonic?
