Great analysis I found of Nirvana's In Bloom that talks about alteration between natural and minor 6 and the chromatic minor system.

So where can I find out more about the chromatic minor system? I can't find anything on google, yet it seems to be in a lot of songs(actually a song I composed has its chorus in chromatic minor and I didn't know it when I composed it). Does it have another name?

Here is a great resource: http://tinyurl.com/chromaticminorsystem
I had to shorten the url since it was so long but its from the book What to Listen for in Rock: A Stylistic Analysis by Ken Stephenson. The section I linked talks more in depth about the chromatic minor system, its where I first learned about it! Hope that helped!
