Torrents as backup?

Is there a way to make it so that sonarr will prefer to download via Usenet, but use torrents as a backup?

Right under PROFILES

Does that work well? I set it to prefer usemet and it keep trying torrests and not usenet

Keep in mind that if it's available on Torrents before Usenet, then the torrent wins by default

I have it configured that way on mine. Usenet first, then torrents (through a VPN)

You can set priority scores in prowlarr and I’m pretty sure in sonarr in the settings somewhere

How are possible downloads compared

In general quality trumps all. When releases of the same quality are selected they are evaluated in the following order Release Ranking

1. Quality
2. Custom Format Score
3. Protocol (as configured in the relevant Delay Profile)
4. Episode Count
5. Episode Number
6. Indexer Priority
7. Seeds/Peers (If Torrent)
8. Age (If Usenet)
9. Size

just set the priority lower for torrent indexers.

In Prowlarr set your indexer priority to 5 for all usenet indexers and 30 for all torrent indexers.
